The North Ballarat Sports Club North Care’s Community Benefits Program were very proud to be part of the launch of the Red Shield Appeal in Ballarat. Participants braved the brisk early morning weather to have a lovely breakfast at the club in preparation for the start of the appeal last weekend. It was great to be part of such an important program that brings so much to our community. The Red Shield appeal door knocking program launched on the weekend of the 25th of May so make sure to support the appeal when they come a knocking!

We also had the pleasure of hosting and providing the WestVic Academy of Sport Fundraising Luncheon with Paul Roos as guest speaker on the 17th of May. It was a terrific event with over 150 patrons attending and hearing the inspirational Roosy talking about leadership and managing teams. WestVic provide guidance and monetary support to local athlete’s in Ballarat and district and the money raised from the luncheon goes to furthering local athletes and their Olympic aspirations.
